So many of us spend our lives looking after everyone else, meeting deadlines, carrying responsibilities, and moving from one thing to the next.

There comes a point where your body starts asking for something different. Less rushing, less pressure, less constantly holding everything together, and more space, more quiet and more time to simply be.

If life has felt noisy, busy, or emotionally full, this retreat is your invitation to step away from it all for three nourishing days.

Set amongst rolling hills, wide open skies, crackling fire pits, peaceful gardens, and quiet corners to simply sit and breathe, Zensi Wellness Retreat offers the kind of stillness that’s becoming increasingly difficult to find.

This isn’t a retreat about pushing harder in your yoga practice either. It’s about moving gently, breathing deeply, listening to your body, connecting with yourself, allowing yourself to rest without guilt, and remembering what it feels like to rest and restore. 

You’ll return home feeling lighter, calmer, clearer, and more like yourself again.

Imagine Your Days…

Wake up as the morning light fills the valley and birdsong welcomes a new day.

Begin each morning with a luscious yoga practice, inviting your body to wake slowly before gathering around the table for a nourishing breakfast prepared with fresh, local and seasonal ingredients.

Later, settle into a guided meditation or Yoga Nidra practice designed to calm your nervous system and invite deep rest.

After a delicious lunch, your afternoon belongs entirely to you.

Read under a tree. Take a sauna. Float in the magnesium pool. Walk through the gardens. Sit quietly with a cup of tea. Journal. Nap. Or simply enjoy the rare gift of having nowhere you need to be.

As evening arrives, we’ll gather again for a Restorative or Yin Yoga practice, helping your body soften after the day before sharing another beautiful meal together.

As the stars appear overhead, settle beside the firepit, enjoy meaningful conversation, or retreat to your room for an early night.

But eventually, our bodies can’t sustain the pace of life we’re chasing and it begins asking us to slow down and breathe. This retreat was created as a gentle response to modern life.

Over three days we’ll work with the nervous system through yoga, breath, meditation, rest, nature and nourishing food.

There’ll be time for connection with beautiful like minded souls, time for solitude, time for laughter and joy, and time to remember who you are beneath all the responsibilities you’ve been carrying for so long.

FAQ’s

I've never done yoga before - is that okay?

Absolutely. This retreat isn’t about performance or getting the poses “right.” All practices are gentle, guided, and suitable for complete beginners through to experienced yogis. You’ll be invited to move at your own pace and rest whenever you need to. No experience is required – just an open mind and a willingness to try.

What if I'm not flexible, or I'm not "good" at yoga?

There’s no such thing as being good or bad at yoga. Flexibility isn’t the point – presence is. Every practice can be adapted to your body, and you’re always welcome to modify, rest, or simply breathe through a pose rather than move into it. This is a judgment free space, and that includes the judgments we place on ourselves.

What's the accommodation and food like?

You’ll stay in beautiful, comfortable rooms at Zensi Wellness Retreat, with options for double, twin, or triple share depending on what suits you. All meals are nourishing, vegetarian, and made from fresh, local, seasonal ingredients – breakfast, lunch, dinner, plus snacks and refreshments throughout the day. Food is very much part of the experience, not an afterthought.

What should I pack?

Comfortable clothing you can move and relax in, layers for cooler mornings and evenings, swimwear for the pools, a journal if you like to reflect, and anything that helps you feel cosy in the evenings by the firepit. You won’t need much – this is a place to simplify, not to prepare for.

What if I need to cancel?

After practising with Ondine for a few years, I nervously attended my first retreat with her and rejoined reality after a blissful three nights with a new found connection to my inner calm. I felt my mind slowed down for the first time in years and I was supported with beautiful surroundings, lovely fellow retreaters, delicious vegan meals, a connective gathering circle and blissful yoga and meditation. I highly recommend Ondine’s retreats for anyone looking to find a sense of peace within!
